The federal indictment alleges that Durk Banks orchestrated the murder-for-hire plot as the leader of the Chicago-based rap collective and alleged gang Only the Family (OTF). The indictment explains how Banks and his co-conspirators exploited interstate facilities to execute the murder that ended Robinson’s life. Authorities then launched further investigations into OTF’s activities, exposing a disturbing pattern of violence and retaliation under Banks’ leadership.

In case number XX, the lawsuit accuses the defendants of unlawful actions—including murder for hire—that resulted in wrongful death. The Robinson family seeks damages for their immeasurable loss.
