Marquel Longtin

Marquel Longtin is a tough litigator with extensive experience in settlement negotiations, having represented, and obtained compensation for, thousands of workers and consumers against some of the world’s largest companies. Yet beyond her courtroom success, Marquel is deeply committed to client care, ensuring that every client has a positive experience even during the most stressful times.

Her skill and dedication have earned her recognition as an Elite Trial Lawyers Rising Star by American Law Media and The National Law Journal, along with the distinction of being an Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Star since 2022. Marquel is also recognized on the 2025 Best Lawyers Ones to Watch® list and was named to the 2025 Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation for her outstanding achievements.

At Postman Law, Marquel develops legal strategy while also managing litigation of individual clients’ claims. Marquel’s systems-focused mindset drives her leadership in key operational groups, including client services, communications, case management, and information technology. Her process-driven approach ensures seamless representation for every client.

Marquel earned her law degree from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, graduating cum laude, and her undergraduate degree with distinction from the University of Chicago, where she also played varsity women’s soccer.
